About the job

• Ensure customer satisfaction by effectively managing software implementation projects, contributing to their successful delivery.
• Undertake hands-on project implementation tasks (such as installation, configuration, and testing) throughout all implementation phases, as directed by the Project Manager.
• Assume the role of the Lead Functional Consultant on Implementation projects, leveraging industry and functional expertise to lead the way.
• Take the lead in discovery workshops, encompassing tasks like gathering requirements, devising solution designs, configuring products, creating implementation specifications, and assessing solutions against customer business needs.
• Offer expert guidance to clients in system design, emphasizing best business practices.
• Thoroughly document configuration designs, integration plans, test strategies, and testing outcomes as part of the implementation project plan.
• Address common implementation and system-related challenges as they arise to mitigate project risks.
• Support technical consultants by providing functional insights, conducting testing, and validating designed solutions to ensure project deliverables meet standards.
• Foster the development of other team members in one or more functional aspects of the solution through coaching and mentoring.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships while ensuring that project commitments align with the established timeline.
• Deliver internal and external training sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with managers to improve and train staff in the realm of implementation and project best practices.
• Be prepared for potential travel to client sites within the EMEA region if required.

About You

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in software business analysis or demonstrate a proven track record of business experience in the ETRM sector.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Engineering, MIS, or a related area.
• Proficiency in the English language is a mandatory requirement. Working knowledge of other languages is a strong advantage.
• Possess in-depth energy industry and commodities expertise.
• Must have prior experience working with structured projects and implementation methodologies.
• Have a demonstrated history of successfully delivering project work.
• Be a collaborative team player with the ability to achieve results through joint efforts.
• Exhibit the capability to meet and adhere to stringent deadlines.
• Possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with leadership and interpersonal capabilities.
• Excel in organizational skills, multitasking, and time management.
• Demonstrate a history of teamwork and collaboration within a professional context.
• Exhibit exceptional customer-facing and influencing skills.
• Experience in understanding and/or composing complex SQL queries is a plus.
